"I bought one pest control unit, but a friend bought several through me for her daughter's business premises. Haven't asked how they have found them, but mine seems to work very well. When I do hear a rat doing a samba in the ceiling it lasts only a couple of seconds -- and I can leave my bedroom window wide open without having my regular night-time visitor any more." Groete, Pieter Smit - Agricultural Science Consultants (Product Development) [dated 03-04-2007] Dear Mr. K. Koning, Feedback from a maintenance manager of a game farm in Botswana [dated 11-11-2006]: "The vermin repellers were all installed. The one more powerful machine was placed in different positions in an attempt to first repel baboons and then hyaenas. It worked off a beam that activated the noise device when it was crossed. This device worked the best and seemed to actually repel both baboons and Hyaenas. The problem* was that it would only work when an animal passed directly in front of the beam. I actually saw a baboon activate the alarm and then move away immediately. It was fitted facing up a tree. When it was fitted across an area where the hyaena crossed ... near the kitchen back entrance, it appeared as though it kept the hyaena away. I think we need to do two things: get a device of the same type which
is permanently on. (It can just be heard and sounds like a high pitched
cicada) and secondly to get a lot more of them. * Note from Koert - two devices were installed:
